Sharona Gordon appointed Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education
Sharona Gordon, PhD, Professor of Physiology and Biophysics, has been appointed Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education at the UW School of Medicine. Sharona’s emphasis will be on career development and leadership for post-docs, developing networking and support programs for graduate students, and ensuring that our community is supportive and inclusive. Very importantly, Sharona will continue the innovative work that she has been doing in the area of restorative justice and the prevention of sexual harassment. Sharona has developed a national reputation for her work in this field. In her work as associate dean, Sharona will collaborate closely with the associate dean for faculty development and the assistant deans for professionalism and for wellness.
